Alana Morgenstern started her ballet training at 15 years old with Magaly Suarez and Madga Aunon in Florida. She completed her training on full scholarship at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, San Francisco Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet. While at The Rock school, she performed the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen, was a Youth American Grand Prix and World Ballet Competition finalist, and was awarded the Bronze medal at the American Dance Competition. Alana began her professional career with Oklahoma City Ballet and later joined Pennsylvania Ballet.
Over her professional career, Alana has performed numerous ballets including Raymonda Pas De Dix, Four Swans from Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Agnes De Mille's Rodeo, and George Balanchine's The Nutcracker, Serenade, and Jewels.
She has worked with multiple companies and choreographers on freelance projects in New York City. Alana is represented by The Movement Talent Agency out of Los Angles and NYC. In addition, Alana is studying to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
This is her first season with Chevalier Ballet.
