Hanna Tsao is from Hawthorne, New Jersey, and graduated from the SLK Ballet School in 2018. During her time at SLK Ballet, she was chosen to train at Masters of Ballet (Artistic Director; Elena Glurdjidze) and Central School of Ballet in London, England as part of SLK Ballet’s exchange program as well as the summer school at Royal Danish Ballet on scholarship. She has guest performed for Long Island Ballet Theatre in their production of The Nutcracker in the roles of Dew Drop Fairy, Chinese Soloist, Marzipan, and Flowers and for numerous other companies in New York City including; Indelible Dance Company, Dances Patrelle, and The 36th Annual Battery Dance Festival as well as hospitals, including New York Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, and Slone-Kettering Cancer Center, and New York City elementary schools as part of SLK Ballet’s outreach program. Hanna was recently invited to take company classes in Europe with Vienna Festival Ballet and Ballet Theatre UK. This is her third season with Chevalier Ballet and she has performed many roles with the company including; La Vivandière, Shades Pas de Trois from La Bayadère, and Odalisque Pas de Trois from Le Corsaire, as well as dancing in The Beatles Cruise on Lake George.
