Teryn Colmery, from Manhattan Beach, California, began her serious training at the
Yuri Grigoriev School of Ballet, where she performed variations from Le Corsaire,
Don Quixote, Paquita and The Nutcracker. She continued her pre-professional training at
the Kirov Academy of Ballet, where she was taught by Marianna Lobanova, Stanislav Issaev and Adrienne Dellas. There, she performed soloist and corps de ballet roles in Coppelia,
The Nutcracker, and Walpurgis Nacht. Teryn has attended summer intensives at the
Kirov Academy of Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. She performed with SLK Ballet School in the Battery Dance Festival as a member of Clement Mensah’s “Interlaced”.
Teryn has enjoyed performing as a principal guest artist in the Long Island Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker, as well as in outreach programs in numerous children’s hospitals in New York City. This is her second season with Chevalier Ballet.
