Chevalier Ballet is a professional classical dance company in New York City, founded in 2018 by Artistic Director Sara Knight, with the mission of combining traditional theatre performances, creating new work for the repertoire, supporting young dancers, whilst also bringing the experience of classical dance to underserved communities. In simple terms, it seeks to enrich lives through dance. As such, the Company is committed to their outreach work, striving to fulfil this mission with US and international tours, offering workshops, performances and demonstrations in schools, hospitals and care facilities. The company's support of young dancers includes its innovative Professional Trainee Program.
