Chevalier Ballet Summer Programs

Chevalier Ballet summer intensives offer a unique opportunity to study at a professional level in a workshop setting. Faculty include Chevalier Ballet full-time staff and renowned guest teachers. Dancers in the summer programs will be considered for Chevalier Ballet company member, trainee, and apprentice positions for the upcoming season, and for acceptance into the Chevalier Ballet Professional Training Program.

ADMISSION BY AUDITION

Dancers may audition for the Summer Intensive(s) by:

• If you are unable to attend one of our audition tour dates, you may schedule a CBC class in-person at our studios in New York City. To set up an in-person audition, please email info@chevalierballet.com. Your in-person audition will not be confirmed until you have received an emailed response to your inquiry.

• Submitting an audition video. Videos should be no longer than 15 minutes and include barre, center work, pirouettes, petite and grande allegro, and pointe work for female-identifying students / tours and grand pirouettes for male-identifying students. Links may be to Vimeo or Youtube ONLY, and please make sure to send a password if your video is labeled 'private'. Please note that other iCloud, Google Drive, or downloadable videos will not be accepted. Submit by emailing materials to info@chevalierballet.com.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The Dancers Dorm Theater District is offering a housing package specifically for the Chevalier Ballet Company Summer Intensive.  A Single room at the Dancers Dorm Theater District is available Aug 13-26 for $850 rent, a $125 booking fee, and a $500 refundable security deposit. The Single rooms have fully equipped kitchenettes, high-speed wifi, bed/bath linens included, laundry and common area lounge in the building, and on-site staff 24/7.  The Dancers Dorm Theater District is located on 45th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues.
