Michele began her dance training at the age of 8 at the Reston Conservatory Ballet under the direction of Julia Redick, where she was trained in the Vaganova technique. From high school through college, Michele spent her summers in New York in ballet intensives at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow, the Joffrey Ballet, the Open World Dance Foundation, and American Ballet Theater. She continued to study dance at Butler University Jordan College of the Arts and graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance in 2023. At Butler, she expanded her dance technique to include modern, jazz, improvisation, character, and partnering. She studied choreography under Prof. David Ingram and created solos and duets for stage and film. Her favorite roles while at Butler were the Wilis in Giselle, Swan Lake’s Waltz, and Mirlitons in The Nutcracker. Michele also has considerable experience in teaching ballet to kids of all age groups, both at the Reston Conservatory in Virginia and at Nostalgia Dance Center in Indianapolis.
