Samuel is a Ballet, Contemporary, and Modern dancer pursuing his BFA in dance at SUNY Purchase College. A native of Santa Cruz, California, he began his Modern training at Tannery World Dance and Cultural Center under direction of Micha Scott. Soon after he began his formal Ballet training at The Studio, School of Classical Ballet under direction of Diane Cypher. Samuel has completed summer programs with LINES Ballet, University of Utah, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Garth Fagan Dance Company. He has learned repertoire from George Balanchine and Alonzo King, performing soloist roles in creations by Eva Stone, Jenelle Figgins, David Harvey, and Da’von Doane.
